OUTREACH
One of the main goals of the UNESCO Chair on Climate Diplomacy is to raise awareness of climate action at local, national, regional, and international levels. The goal is to contribute to agenda-setting, decision-making, policy-making, and policy implementation processes by making climate action relevant to all. To achieve the above, the Chair undertakes a series of public activities to promote climate diplomacy and climate action; some addressed directly to academia, scholars, and policymakers but mainly to the public. Having a core belief that collective action will make the needed transformation, the Chair also collaborates with other institutions and organizations in order to expand its outreach.
