Nikoleta Dabanovic

Nikoleta Dabanovic is a PhD candidate at the Department of Political Science and Public Administration of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Her doctoral research is focused on the implementation of the EU Climate Policy regarding mitigation and just transition and falls under the UNESCO Chair on Climate Diplomacy. Since February 2021 is also a Junior Research Fellow at the Institute of European Integration and Policy. She holds the bachelor’s degree in English language and literature from the University of Novi Sad as well as the master’s degree in European Integration Law from the same university. In 2019, she completed the master’s Programme in Southeast European Studies: Politics, History, Economics. Her working experience include working both in the public and private sector in the fields of education and sustainable development.

Ourania Papadopoulou

Ourania Papadopoulou is a Human Rights expert specializing in climate change and civil society. She has a Master's in Human Rights & Global Ethics from the University of Leicester and a Master's in Southeast Europe from the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens. She has worked in the civil society sector, coordinating various initiatives that empower children and young people to raise their voices and participate in the community. Ourania has worked as an Advisor of the Greek Deputy Minister of Labor & Social Affairs, responsible for Demography and Family Policy and Gender Equality, and she is currently working as a Scientific Associate in the Hellenic Parliament. Since December 2023, she is also a Collaborator of the UNESCO Chair on Climate Diplomacy.

Marianna Terezaki

Marianna Terezaki holds a bachelor’s degree from the Department of Political Science and Public Administration (University of Athens) and a master’s degree in International and European Studies from the same University. Her research specialization is on human rights, peacekeeping operations and climate change. She has been initially an intern and now a research assistant at the Institute of European Integration and Policy of the University of Athens, where she focuses on topics, such as the impacts of climate change on Greek policymaking and parties’ policies; long-term climate policies; artificial intelligence and climate policy. Since March 1, 2024, she is a Collaborator of the UNESCO Chair on Climate Diplomacy and a Junior Research Fellow at the Institute of European Integration and Policy.
