Dr Othon Kaminiaris is a Research Fellow under the UNESCO Chair on Climate Diplomacy. He is also a Research Fellow at the Institute of European Integration and Policy (NKUA) and the Hellenic Foundation for European and Foreign Policy (ELIAMEP), where he acts as the project manager of the EU-funded project ARSINOE. He was awarded his PhD titled The impact of the EU climate change policy on its neighbourhood with distinction, for which he was funded by the National Scholarship Foundation (IKY). In the past, he has worked in the public and private sector, researching on climate, energy and just transition issues, as well as organising various educational activities. Indicatively, he was worked as a policy researcher at the Green Tank and as an external scientific collaborator of the National Centre for Social Research (EKKE). He holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Public Administration and a master’s degree in International and European Studies. He speaks Greek (native), English, French and Spanish. He is the Secretary General of the Political Science and Public Administration Alumni Association.
